The PhD Day is an annual event organized in Groningen by PhD students for PhD students. The goal of the PhD Day is to broaden your research and career perspectives, as well as strengthen a sense of community between PhD students from different disciplinary, educational and cultural backgrounds. During PhD Day, a variety of workshops are offered - which you will not easily find elsewhere - thereby yearly attracting hundreds of PhDs from different disciplines from all over the Netherlands. That is what makes PhD Day the biggest one-day career events for PhD students in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg - and one of the biggest in Europe!
