The Groningen Graduate Interest Network (GRIN) is the PhD organisation at the University of Groningen that takes care of the academic and administrative processes involving any of our PhDs. Our primary goal is to inform you about your rights and obligations, explain the differences among types of PhD, and help you find the correct authority to whom you can present your concerns and solve any issues.
At the national level, GRIN is in contact with the PNN (Promovendi Netwerk Nederland), an organisation responsible for the connection between the PhD community and the Dutch government. At the local level, we work in close contact with the PhD representatives at the RUG’s University Council and the PhD Councils of each faculty.
To improve GRIN we could use your collaboration. Your experience can help improve aspects of the PhD life for current and future candidates. If our goal interests you, do not hesitate to contact us to get more information.
